1. What We Do

Huddle is a volunteer-run website that helps Toastmasters clubs in New Zealand (and worldwide) organise meeting rosters. It is operated by individuals associated with Toastmasters NZ and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Toastmasters International.

2. Your Use of the Service

By using Huddle, you agree to:

  • Not misuse, abuse, or disrupt the service.
  • Not send abusive, offensive, threatening, harassing, or defamatory messages.
  • Not send spam, phishing or otherwise harmful content.

3. Account Information

You may create an account to manage your club's roster. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate, complete, and current registration information at all times.
  • Keeping your login details secure.
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Content You Provide

You retain ownership of any information you enter, such as club rosters, agendas and meeting schedules. By submitting content, you grant us permission to store and display it within the Service so other club members can access it.

Other club members may send emails containing messages and attachments through the Service. Huddle does not accept any responsibility for viruses, malware, or harmful content that such emails may contain, nor for any content written by individual club members.

5. Voluntary Service

Huddle is provided free of charge by volunteers. There are no guarantees regarding uptime, availability, or accuracy of features. We periodically update the Service to release new features and fix bugs.

6. Privacy

We collect only the information necessary to operate the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information from loss, theft, or unauthorised access. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Limitation

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service. This includes data loss, service interruptions, or any indirect consequences.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
